How to Choose Scenic Area Lighting Correctly?

Outdoor lighting in cultural and tourism scenic spots is far more than just illuminating the night—it is a vital way to enhance tourists' nighttime experience, highlight the unique natural and cultural features of scenic areas, and boost the nighttime tourism economy.

For passage areas such as footpaths, steps and viewing platforms, IP65 or higher waterproof lamps with anti-glare honeycomb nets are adopted to deliver uniform and soft illumination, ensuring the safety of all tourists traveling at night.

For scenic spots including landmark buildings, lake views, sculptures and flower beds, spotlights, wall washers and in-ground lights are combined to create light and shadow contrasts. This enhances the three-dimensional sense of landscapes and makes core areas eye-catching yet non-glaring.

The color temperature and brightness of lights in rest and viewing areas can be flexibly adjusted: cool-toned soft light is used in natural scenic spots to accentuate a tranquil atmosphere, while 2700K-3000K warm light is generally applied to create a welcoming experience. Meanwhile, the brightness and irradiation range of lights are strictly controlled to ensure tourists' viewing comfort.

Scenic area lighting systems must withstand harsh outdoor conditions for the long term, and lamp quality is an indispensable key to ensuring low maintenance and stable operation. Lamp bodies are made of high-end anti-corrosion materials such as aluminum and 316L stainless steel, featuring UV resistance and wear resistance to adapt to extreme weather conditions including coastal salt spray, heavy rain and large temperature differences. For light sources, high-efficiency LED lamps with a high color rendering index (CRI≥90) are the top choice, which can truly restore the original colors of landscapes and buildings.
